A positive change in Pakistani politics

I am very impressed and amazed to see that even after the termination of alliance between PML(N) and PPP, both parties have shown respect for each other and in general have avoided to speak bad about each other.

Governor of Punjab, Salman Taseer who is undestood to be the man from Musharraf’s gang, has shown very immature behaviour. He organised a press conference in Governor House in which he spoke against PML(N) leadership. However Punjab Chief Minister, Shahbaz Sharif asked his ministers and MPA’s not to give a single statement against any PPP leader. PML(N) leader Nawaz Sharif apeared in a  political TV show yesterday on Geo TV. He answered the questions from Absar Alam (compere of the show) in a very mature way. He took the nation in confidence and shared his experiences with PPP during the attempts made for the restoration of judiciary. However, he reamained very calm and quiet.

It is the behaviour that can be termed as a wave of change in our society and we feel proud of our political leadership for the first time for showing some dignity. Pakistan Zinda Baad!
