Jahangir Khan, a person for whom its very difficult to write that can justify his achievements and talent. In short he is the person who inrtoduced Pakistan to the world. He is the greatest player in the history of Squash till now and noone can break his records. He conquered the world with his racket.

Jahangir Khan was born in Karachi on 10th December 1963. His father, Roshan Khan was also a world renown Squash player, who had won British Open in 1957. Roshan wanted Jahangir to play Squash but during his early childhood, Jahangir was very weak and doctors suggested him not to play Squash as its a very tough game. Later his father and cousin Rehmat Khan coached him and brought him to the highest level of performance. Without any further discussion, I present his amazing records for you.
 
  •  Jahangir Khan is the youngest World Champion. he won World Open in 1981 by beating Aussie player Geoff Hunt. He was only 17 year old at that time.
  •  Jahangir Khan remained unbeaten for a record period of 5 years and more than 500 matches since his World Open victory mentioned above.
  • Jahangir Khan won British Open for consecutive 10 years (1982-1991).
  • Jahangir Khan won World Open 6 times (1981-1985 and 1988).
  • Jahangir remained champion of both softball and hardball Squash.

The great Khan retired in 1993 in Karachi. Government of Pakistan awarded Jahangir Khan with the following honours and awards:

  • Pride of Performance
  • Hilal-e-Imtiaz
  • Sportsman of the Millenium (title)

Jahangir Khan is the President of World Squash Federation these days and he is the one on whom all Pakistani nation feels to be proud.
