Murder of ‘Justice’ in Pakistan

nawaz-shahbaz-sharif

Yesterday Dogar Court (Pakistani Supreme Court) issued a decision that is shameful for the judicial and political history of Pakistan. Three-member bench of teh Supreme Court declared Nawaz Sharif and Shahbaz Sharif disqualified for contesting into the General Elections. After this unjust decision, Punjab Chief Minister Mr. Shahbaz Sharif immediately got removed from the Chief ministership. People all over Pakistan have got unrest after this Zardari guided decision. Nawaz Sharif in a press conference exposed the facts about this decision, soon after the court session.

He told that Zardari was behind this decision as he wanted Sharif Brothers to agree with him for giving support to the Supreme Court Chief Justice Abdul Hameed Dogar. On this PML-N did not agree as they are the supporters of Chief Justice Mr. Iftikhar Muhammad Chaudhry.

People all over the country have started protests after this unlawful decision and torture scenes haev been reported in Lahore and Rawalpindi. Police van and five other vehicles have been burnt on Islamabad Express Way. These acts must not be appreciated, but this is enough for the people behind this unpopular decision. Late night President Zardari imposed Governor Hold in Punjab for two months, which means that now Governor Salman Taseer will be the incharge of PML-N’s voters.

If the situation does not improve in a couple of days, it can be easily predicted that a real tough situation is coming ahead for the PPP government as all political parties are highly condemning this bad decision.

New Political Battle

New Political Battle

Yesterday Nawaz Sharif shook the whole Pakistani political scene when he was addressing the PML-N General Council meeting in Raiwind. He told that there was an agreement between President Zardari and Ex-president Mr. Pervaiz Musharraf due to which PPP Government is bound to give indemnity to the unconstitutional steps of Musharraf. As per his view, PML-N Leader added that he never bowed down his head in frontof Army Generals. Nawaz gave a call to all Pakistani people to come and join the Long March and Sit-In on 16 March 2009.

These statements have arised at a very crucial time, when Supreme Court is hearing the case of Sharif Brothers’ aligibility forcontesting the elections and the decision is just about to come in a week period. Harsh statements by Governor of Punjab, Salman Taseer are pointing towards a decision against Sharif Brothers, due to which Punjab Government can be taken away from PML-N. Nawaz Sharif has also announced that their party would attend the Lawyers’ Long March and Sit-In. He added that they were ready to go a step further, if required.

In reply, PPP Leader Qasim Zia has come up with an angry tone. He said that Mr. Nawaz Sharif must have registered an FIR against Musharraf in Punjab, where his party is in government. He added further that they could even arrest Musharraf on entring in Punjab. Now it’s evident that a new political battle is going to start, which will bring something new…… We all are looking towards 16 March, when all Lawyers, Civil Society people and number of political parties will come out on roads for Long March to Islamabad. They are determined that this will bring the CHANGE that is now demand of the whole depressed nation.

Yesterday ( 20 Feb. 2009 ) Nawaz Sharif showed his greatness. Mother of PML(Q) president Chaudhry Shujaat Hussain expired in Lahore yesterday morning. Nawaz Sahrif, who is againt Chaudhry brothers due to their supporting of ex-President Musharraf when he had dissolved Sharif’s government unlawfully, immediately visited Shujaat at Zahoor Palace, Lahore. With him there were his senior party leaders as well. Sharif stayed there for almost 10 minutes and condoled over the great loss beared by Shujaat.

2-leaders

Sources told that this was first meeting between two leaders in last 10 years. Nawaz set a good example by paying this visit. He showed that parents are above all differences and must be given due respect. We wish that PML(Q) must welcome this gesture and should stop degrading Sharif Brothers in their interviews and statements.

Ali Zafar left music???

18 Feb 2009 · 3 Comments

For last many months we have not seen Ali Zafar performing on any of the

Ali Zafar - the pop vocalist

Ali Zafar - the pop vocalist

TV channels or in concerts…. A friend of mine told me a week ago that the singer left music for good. The reason for his decision was that he was kept captivated by some unknown people for ransom in Lahore. Ali’s family paid the ransom to get him back.

After this sad incident, Ali Zafar decided to keep himself away from the showbiz activities. This is indeed very sad that due to insecurity in Pakitstan, now the artists are unsafe and they feel it better for themselves to live silently. May Allah bring peace in Pakistan…Amin!

Syed Noor in ‘Brunch with Bushra’

15 Feb 2009 · 3 Comments

Today I got chance to view Bushra Ansari’s Sunday talk show ‘Brunch with Bushra’ on Geo TV. In ths programme, she invites a new guest from Showbiz every week. This week Syed Noor was the guest. Bushra greeted him warmly and askde very good questions. Mr. Noor, who is a real talented Lollywood Film Director replied her questions in a very charming way that made the programme a beautiful one as it was shooted close to the Valentine’s Day (yesterday).

Syed Noor - King of Lollywood

Bushra asked the most difficult questions, especially about Noor’s second marriage with Saima, in a very light and polite manner. It showed her groomed and appreciable talent of hosting such talk shows. Syed Noor assured his fans that he would be direcing and producing some real good movies with innovative ideas that will help promoting the Lollywood movies in the young generation. He added that he had recently started his new film academy in Lahore and was hiring young people from National College of Arts (NCA) graduates for his forthcoming projects. Later, Singer Humaira Arshad sung two songs from Mr. Noor’s hit movies Sangam and Choorrian that made the programme memorable.

We wish Mr. Noor a very good success in his future endeavours.

Islam: The religion of peace…..

Islam - The true religion

Islam - The true religion

Today I am writing on a very sensitive issue. In the recent few years we have been introduced to a new term: Muslim terrorirsts. This is very sad that now terrorists are being categorised on the basis of their religious beliefs. I mean that if someone is born into a Muslim family and he doesn’t know anything about the religion how we can call him a good Muslim. Similarly as many European men and women work in pornographic movies, we cannot call them as Christian prostitutes, because it is their personal act for which their religion cannot be blamed. Similarly when some frustrated man enters into a school in the United States and opens fire, due to which innocent children are killed, he must not be blamed on the basis of his faith.

Islam is a beautiful religion in which the believers are told to bow their head in front of Allah (the Creator) five times a day. Islam stresses on men offering their prayers in gatherings (in masjids) so that they can meet each other and get knowledge about their problems. In this way they can help each other. Islam never allows to kill even a single person who is innocent and has not killed anybody else. Islam puts great stress on respecting the elders, children and females. Even in war, no Muslim is allowed to attck on those who are not fighting. Whereas Jews in Palestine kill innocent people including elders, women and children. In Islam, Jihad (religious fight) is only allowed for defence. Islam never allows to captivate innocent people.

It is the beauty of Islam that in Islamic countries people have a good family system. Parents live with their children in their old age and children give them due respect. Similarly there is no concept of having children without marriage, which is a common trend in Western coutries today. Also the divorce ratio in Muslim states is very low as compared with the Western societies. Islam has given respect to the females, whereas in West, they are being used for the entertainment of men only.

Unfortunately, in a reaction to the unidirectional and biased US policies, some people start reacting in a way that brings bad name to Islam. They are angry just because previously USA was their supporter during Afghanistan-Russia war. USA supplied them with arms for fighting against Russia. Later when USA invaded into Afghanistan and Iraq and started killing innocent people, they got furious on seeing the mass killing. Similarly US policy on Palestine issue is a major reason taht has brought the whole world into danger. USA never stopped or even condemned Israel on killing the innocent children. USA always supported their actions. But nobody blames Christianity on this. USA does not like that any Islamic country should have atomic programmes, but has no objection on the same for non-Islamic countries. This is a double policy that is creating hatred in the Muslims allover the world.

All the think tanks must consider these things otherwise this earth will remain not a safe place for any human being.

Islamabad High Court releases national hero

8 Feb 2009 · Leave a Comment

At least Allah (swt) listened to the prayers of Pakistani nation and Islamabad High Court released national hero Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan from unjusitified and illegal house imprisonment. He was taken into custody (house arrest) in 2004, when that time dictator Pervaiz Musharraf forced him to accept that he had been involved in the illegal selling of atomic formulae to Iran and South Korea. Later in 2008, Dr. Khan in his interviewed denied these allegations and told that he had to admit these false accuses just because of the pressure put on him by some Army generals.

Dr. A.Q. Khan

Dr. A.Q. Khan

On 6th February 2009 after a period of 5 years, finally IHC took this great decision and declared Dr. Khan as an independent citizen of Pakistan. Dr. Khan showed great dignity and humbleness at the occasion and said that he would not give any comment against anybody. He added that he wanted to forget the past and devote himself for research and study for rest of his life.

We love Dr. Abdul Qadeer Khan and pray to Allah to give him good health and more respect…Amin!

Global financial crisis hitting Dubai in the worst manner

5 Feb 2009 · 9 Comments

Dubai, which was once considered to be the world’s fastest growing city (emirate) is one of the worst targets of present global financial crisis. All the sectors have badly affected. However development and real estate sectors have suffered more than any other. Engineering jobs are in real danger as many state owned developers like Nakheel, Tameer, Tatweer, Samaa Dubai and Emaar have to pay millions to the contractors and consultants. Ongoing projects are being closed due to the unavailability of funds.

dubai

Our project Waterfront, under Nakheel, is also going to be stopped within a week or so due to the same problem and our company (a well established contracting group) is facing great problems in recovering due money from many clients, due to which they dont have enough funds to give us the salaries and as a result we are going to lose our jobs. Many families already have flown back to their countries. However racism can be seen here as well; as European and Australians, who get very high pays, are the last ones to be fired from their jobs. Whereas hardworking Pakistani, Indian and Fillipino people are being fired immediately. Another problem faced by the job losers is that they are afcing great difficulty in selling the household items and their cars. Due to present uncertain situation noone is purchasing these things.

Dubai Shopping Festival is also suffering a lot and number of foreighn tourists has reduced to almost 10% due to which the business is suffering a lot and big shopping malls are found empty. Nobody knows that when this situation will end and Dubai will come to its normal once again…..

A miracle: Surprising Rock in Saudi Arabia

3 Feb 2009 · 6 Comments

A huge rock in a village of Al-Hassa region, SAUDI ARABIA raises 11 cm from the ground level once in a year during the month of April and stays elevated for about 30 minutes !!!

Rock in the air......

Rock in the air......

They say that 17 years ago, one terrorist was shot dead behind this rock as he was hidden there. This encounter happened in the month of April 1989. You can see the fresh blood stains on the rock. Most surprisingly, when the rock raises from the ground, these stains become darker, fresher and wet. Local residents tried to wipe off the stains several times, but after some time it appears again on the rock automatically. (Source: Liveleak.com)

This is indeed a proof of Allah’s signs, by those He wants to show us that even in the modern age there are many things where human sense is failed and noone can find any logic. These things prove that there is a Super Power Who has made this universe and is controlling every single object.
