Long March

June 10, 2008: Yesterday, bar associations of Sindh and Balochistan provinces started ‘Long March’ for the restoration of deposed judges. They have arrived Sukkur, from where they will start their journey towards Multan. In Multan, deposed Chief Justice Mr. Iftikhar Chaudhry will join them and lead the caravan till its final detinitation Islamabad.

This long awaited ‘Long March’ will be welcomed in Lahore tomorrow by the main leadership of Pakistan Muslim League-Nawaz (PML-N), whose ministers have resigned from federal ministerships last month as a protest against Pakistan Peoples Party’s attitude over the restoration of judiciary.

I wish the lawyers be successful in reinstation of deposed judges. Musharraf must quit.
