Entries from June 2008

World’s longest time ‘Richest’, owner of Microsift, Mr. Bill Gates retired from Microsoft on 27th of June 2008. He is now going to dedicate rest of his life to the needy and poor people of this world. He announced that he would be leaving only (for him) 1 Million US$ for his family when he leaves this world. Rest of the money will be held by ‘Bill Gates Foundation’, which will spend it on improving the condition of poor and needy people.
Its amazing that how humble Bill Gates is even being so rich and having everything he wished in his life. Due to his great nature, US people feel proud for being his country fellows. Pakistan and other Muslims countries lack such dynamic and great people, who can take such steps. Every rich and resourceful person must follow this great example set by none other but the Harward’s dull student, Bill Gates.

Pakistan is already facing very bad political situation these days, which have turned worse with the decision of PCO judges against Mr. Nawaz Sharif that he can not take part in the forthcoming by-elections. Unfortunately, Mr. Shahbaz Sharif, his younger brother and Punjab Chief Minister may also loose his chief ministership just because he did not take back his papers from Rawalpindi constituency after being selected as an MPA unapposed from Bhakkar.
According to present law, if a member is selected from another constituency, he has to leave his previous seat. If Shahbaz does so, he will have to take the oath again and as per an ammendment done by President Musharraf, he cannot become Chief Minister for the third time. Therefore now its a big issue as a petition has been entered in the Lahore High Court, which already disqualified Nawaz Sharif from contesting in the by-elections.

Roothay Hou Tum, tum ko kaisay manaoon piya…..
This sweetest song from Pakistani film Aaina takes listeners’ full attention and makes them relaxed and happy. This wonderful melody and several others such as Hum ke thehray ajnabi, Woh jo hum mayn, Kabhi hum khoobsoorat thay, Mujhay wida ker, and Dosti ka ik samandar are beautiful artpieces from Nayyara Noor. She is a real Melody Queen from Pakistan.
Nayyara sang songs for Pakistani films and TV shows. Like Noor Jahan, her voice is also very soothing and melodious and listeners cannot think of anything else while she is singing. She is a low-profile eastern lady like Lata Mangeshkar and has a very strong character due to which she has never been involved in any scandal. We wish her a very good life….

Famous political anchor-man Dr. Shahid Masood has joined Pakistan Television (Ptv) as Managing Director. Dr. Shahid is very popular for his talk show Meray Mutabiq, which was telecast from GEO TV and his bold questions made all Pakistani people his fans. His programme’s viewership set new records. Few days back government banned his programme when three ex-Generals of Pakistan Army raised their voices against President Musharraf in his programme.
It is difficult to say anything on his new role that whether it is due to a deal (for keeping him away from such talk shows in which government or Musharraf are kept on target) or giving Ptv a new image. Time will answer this question. However his absence will be felt a lot by his fans.

For last few months, Pakistan has been receiving dead bodies of its citizens at the Wahga Border, Lahore as gifts from Indian government. These people were kept in jails for long times due to minor charges. Later they were tortured, due to which they lost their lives.
On one side India is doing this and on the other side they are asking Pakistan to release their terrorist and killer spy, who has been given death warrant by the court. Pakistan is as usual courtious and President Musharraf has postponned his hanging. I strongly condemn this hypocretic attutide of Indian government and also request the readres to respond this post in a positive way.

US lead allied forces attacked Mohmand Agency, Pakistan and killed 1 Pak Army Major and 10 other soldiers in an attack this Tuesday. Casualities include more than 10 civilians as well. This is very sad that Pakistan being a permanent and sincere partner of US War on Terror faced this day. US Government later gave a statement that this attack had the full consent of Government of Pakistan.
General Musharraf is responsible for this ct. He took dollars from US and allowed them to attack on any part of our country. SHAME ON HIM! Due to his stupid acts, Pakistan Army and citizens are suffering now.
